3945ABG fix for Ubuntu


earlier. I did fix the issue but I had to do little more than what I did in Arch Linux. In case if you have the same wireless card (Intel 3945ABG) and looking for a solution for slow net speed, I have it for you. And if you don’t have the same card or problem but still want to know how I solved the problem, please continue reading.

This solution is for Linux Mint 5 but will work for Ubuntu 8.04 too. Please update your system before you proceed.

Operation: Clean Up

You can do just like that; in fact you can change the whole style of any site you want. Thanks to Firefox Stylish extension. With Stylish extension and your own style script you can revamp any site you want. If you don’t know how to make a CSS script, don’t worry. AJAX Yahoo Mail!


Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I’ve been using a single yahoo mail ID since 2000. I like its simple interface. Of course it’s nowhere close compared to Gmail’s interface. I just don’t feel like changing ID since I’m using it alomst everywhere. You might say Yahoo mail Beta has good interface, well I don’t like it either. I’m just so used to the classic interface. One of the major features I like about Gmail is that it does not reload the page whenever user sends a request to server. Ya, all Ajax thingy. I think this is the most useful feature when comes to reading mail. It saves time and bandwidth. I’ve been using a Firefox extension which does the same thing.
