1Click Screenshot & upload
WinUp which does all those tasks in 1 click. It is a Windows only software.
Features:
- WinUp allows you to select any area of your screen, and have that
- selection automatically uploaded to the Swiigle Image directory.
- Upload to your own server using custom php file.
- The URL is automatically copied to clipboard.
Getting started:
- You need .net framework 2 for this application. If you don’t have it get it from here
- Download WinUp from here
- Open the program
- Right click the tray icon, select update, check for updates. Once update is done, you are ready to go.
- When you want to take a screenshot, press Left Control + 1
- Your screen will dim out, now drag the mouse and select the area you wish to take a picture off
- Release mouse
- The link to the image will be in your clipboard.
How to use different hosting account:
- I’ll use SmartFTP for all ftp tasks. Get the sample php file. Save it as upload.php and upload it to your server. For example, I’ll put it in ‘upload’ directory under ‘public_html’.
- Now, inside ‘upload’ folder create another directory named ‘uploads’. Give it write permission(777). If you are using SmartFTP then right click the folder and select properties. In the permissions field type 777 and OK.
- Open WinUp options and in the upload file (PHP) box type the php file location and in upload path field, type upload directory url. Here is how my options box look:

Click Apply and you are done. Hope you like this little piece of software as much as I do.
